Kissberg Construction is based in Stone Mountain, GA specializing in demolition, sidewalk and driveway construction, hauling, grading and Airfield Spall Repair.

Kissberg Construction was an outgrowth of Signworks Inc. which did a lot of demolition of large sign structures during the Olympics. Since then Kissberg Construction has grown and expanded into the business of demolition, sidewalks, driveway construction, hauling and grading for both commercial and residential structures.

Kissberg's size allows us to be efficient and responsive which helps us compete with larger construction companies. Our staff thrives on strong teamwork and diligence to meet deadlines. We are a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Female Business Enterprise (FBE) and 8A certified by the SBA and DOT certified.

We are currently doing most of the work within the Atlanta Metro area. These comprise of, but are not limited to various demolition projects to enable the expansion and modernization of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the primary airport in the Southeast United States and busiest in the nation in terms of passenger traffic.

Specific projects at the Airport include demolition of 340,000 ft of warehouse buildings close to the still functioning runway. These buildings include the Gate gourmet facilities, approximately 113,453 ft in area and 25 ft in height, and Old Eastern cargo facilities, approximately 216,800 ft in area and 30 ft in height and most recently the Old FAA Control Tower. Among our challenges were working next to a still functioning runway, security, dust and debris control.
Other demolition projects have included sprawling apartment complexes. Some of these projects were physically and socially challenging with “grapevine” utilities. The utilities in these communities were so interconnected that, if you cut a line of water or electricity you deprived others of their utilities. We devised ways to get around this problem without shutting out everybody.
We work closely with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and asbestos abaters to comply with EPA specifications. 

Our recycling policies are at the standards outlined in the Leadership in Energy in Environmental Designing (LEED) and we work closely with Recycling Companies.
